Job summary

Walgreens Co. in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under supervision, process prescriptions, and support pharmacy operations.

You will help coach technicians, operate pharmacy systems, and contribute to delivering a distinctive customer experience. Preferred candidates will have a PTCB certification, at least one year of pharmacy tech experience, fluency in English, and flexibility to work evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision and support pharmacy duties.
• Enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues.
• Assist with inventory management and store operations.
• Support cashiers and operate pharmacy registers.
