Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under direct supervision and support the pharmacy team in processing prescriptions and delivering a distinctive customer experience.

You will operate pharmacy systems, assist in scheduling, manage inventory, and help with claims processing while upholding quality and compliance standards. PTCB certification and 1 year of tech experience are preferred; English fluency required.

Qualifications

• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule (evenings/weekends).
• Willingness to obtain immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and related duties.
• Operate pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Support pharmacy staff including technicians and cashiers to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain inventory and assist with financial and customer service performance.
