Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists and support daily operations in a retail setting. You will enter patient and drug information, dispense prescriptions, and help maintain inventory while providing excellent customer service.

The position requires PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico) and at least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience. Applicants should be fluent in English and willing to work evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions and maintaining workflow.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems accurately.
• Assist with inventory management and pharmacy operations.
• Greet customers, answer questions, and assist with locating products as needed.
• Support pharmacy manager and staff pharmacist in compliance with policies and quality programs.
