Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists under supervision, handling prescription processing, patient information entry, and inventory management. The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and proactive customer service at the store level.

The technician will support clinical services coordination, maintain knowledge of pharmacy policies, and help ensure smooth operations across daily tasks and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Assist pharmacist in entering patient and drug information in pharmacy systems.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring pharmaceutical drugs; verify medicine.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in scheduling, workflow, and inventory management.
• Handle minor clerical duties and process manual claims for third-party programs.
• Maintain pharmacy department inventory, assist with vendor shipments and stock levels.
• Coordinate with local medical community to support clinical services and outreach.
