Job summary

Walgreens Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacist in dispensing medications and delivering excellent customer service. You will enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems, fill prescriptions, and verify accuracy while assisting with workflow.

You will help manage inventory, handle cash, and support clinical services under supervision. A certification (PTCB or ExCPT) and one year of retail or hospital tech experience are required, along with English fluency

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends; immunization certification within 90 days where required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions and ensuring accuracy.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and verify potential interactions.
• Provide customer service, greet customers, and help locate products.
• Assist with pharmacy department inventory management and cash handling.
• Support clinical services coordination with healthcare providers as needed.
