Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to engage customers, support pharmacists, and maintain accurate medication records. You will assist with prescription processing, inventory management, and customer service in a fast-paced retail pharmacy.

The role requires PTCB or ExCPT certification, 1 year of relevant experience, and a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Immunization certification within 90 days may be necessary, depending on location.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification is required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (unless prohibited).

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Assists pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining workflow and supporting clinical services as needed.
• Maintains accuracy in entering patient and drug information and adheres to pharmacy policies.
