Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of retail experience recommended.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math and computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control and PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing prescriptions and pharmacy duties.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems; verify information for accuracy.
• Assist with and coach technicians in operation of systems and cash registers.
• Process prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications; check for interactions.
• Support inventory management: ordering, unpacking, storing pharmaceuticals, and reporting discrepancies.
• Maintain customer experience by greeting customers and resolving issues.
• Assist in clinical services coordination and liaison with healthcare providers.
