Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacy Department under pharmacist supervision in a fast-paced retail environment. You will assist in dispensing, enter data, maintain inventory, and contribute to delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires PTCB/ExCPT certification, 1 year of experience, English fluency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends; immunization certification may be required within 90 days.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except Puerto Rico).
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital.
• Fluent in reading, writing, speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions and maintaining workflow.
• Enter patient and drug information and verify accuracy.
• Help manage pharmacy inventory and supplier orders.
• Assist with third-party claims and billing processing.
• Provide customer service and direct customers to OTC aisles.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and staff pharmacist in clinical services as needed.
