Job summary

Walgreens is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacists in dispensing medications, entering data, and maintaining workflow efficiency. You will assist with inventory, customer interactions, and minor clerical tasks while upholding the Walgreens Code of Conduct.

This position requires PTCB/ExCPT certification (except PR), 1 year of relevant experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of retail or hospital pharmacy tech experience.
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends and to obtain immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in dispensing and labeling medications under supervision.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems accurately.
• Help manage pharmacy workflow and inventory under supervision.
• Handle calls and patient inquiries not requiring pharmacist attention.
• Support clinics and coordination with healthcare providers.
