The role requires one year of pharmacy technician experience, PTCB or ExCPT certification, and willingness to work evenings/weekends. Immunization certification within 90 days is anticipated.

Qualifikationen

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Aufgaben

• Assist in pharmacy under supervision by pharmacist, in accordance with policy.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems; ensure accuracy.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications; verify accuracy.
• Lead pharmacy department inventory management and handle shipments and stock.
• Coordinate and support clinical services and interaction with healthcare providers.
• Process manual/third-party claims and perform clerical duties as needed.
