Job summary

Providence Seaside Hospital in Seaside, OR is seeking a Per Diem/Day Shift Senior Pharmacy Technician to support the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications across nursing units. The role requires experience with automated dispensing systems (ADS) and EHRs, and advanced knowledge in specialty areas of the pharmacy.

Responsibilities include triaging orders, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining ADS integrity while providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care

Qualifications

H.S. Diploma or GED or equivalent
Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician at hire or Oregon Pharmacy Technician License
PTCB certification required or equivalent experience
Experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR) preferred

Responsibilities

Assist in filling and dispensing unit dose and stock medications.
Fill/dispense oral and IV medications and triage patient orders.
Maintain accuracy and integrity of the automated dispensing system (ADS)
