Job summary

Providence Seaside Hospital in Seaside, OR is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to support unit dose filling and dispensing from the pharmacy to nursing units and other departments on a per diem, day shift basis. The role involves filling oral and IV medications, triaging orders, and ensuring the automated dispensing system (ADS) remains accurate and secure.

Experience in an integrated health system is preferred and PTCB certification is valued.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician upon hire.
• Oregon Pharmacy Technician License upon hire.
• Minimum of one year (>2080 clock hours) of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system and current PTCB certification - OR - 2 years (>4160 hours) hospital pharmacy if not PTCB certified.

Responsibilities

• Fill/dispense unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to nursing units and other departments.
• Fill/dispense oral and IV medications; triage patient orders; maintain the accuracy of the ADS.
