Job summary

Providence Seaside Hospital in Seaside, Oregon is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Technician for Per-Diem Day shift. You will fill and dispense unit dose and stock medications, triage orders, and maintain the automated dispensing system to ensure safe, accurate medication use.

The role requires a H.S. Diploma or GED, Oregon Pharmacy Technician license or certification, and 2–3 years of hospital pharmacy experience with ADMs and EHR. PTCB certification and advanced technician credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• Oregon Pharmacy Technician License or Oregon certification required on hire.
• Minimum 2 years (4160 hours) of hospital or integrated health system pharmacy practice; PTCB if certified.
• Experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and EHR.

Responsibilities

• Fill/dispense oral and IV medications to nursing units and departments.
• Triaging patient orders and maintaining ADS integrity.
• Provide advanced knowledge in two or more specialty areas in the pharmacy.
