Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Oregon Certified Pharmacy Technician at hire or Oregon Pharmacy Technician License.
• 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience in an integrated health system with PTCB certification, or 3 years if no PTCB certification.
• Experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and Electronic Health Records (EHR).

Responsibilities

• Fill and dispense unit dose and stock medications to nursing units and other departments.
• Fill/dispense oral and IV medications and triage patient orders.
• Maintain the automated dispensing system (ADS) integrity.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge in two or more specialty areas in the pharmacy.
