Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Senior Strategic Advisor to leverage deep pharmacy industry expertise to identify cost-of-care savings opportunities and develop revenue-generating products and programs. The role focuses on optimizing existing solutions, driving strategic initiatives, and collaborating across the enterprise with senior leadership and PBMs to accelerate innovation and value creation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in healthcare strategy, business development, product innovation, or related field.
OR master's degree with 3+ years in healthcare strategy, business development, product innovation, or related field.
Experience leading cross-functional programs from assessment to execution and value realization.

Responsibilities

Identify and lead innovative pharmacy strategies to reduce cost of care and support enterprise growth.
Develop and optimize pharmacy products, programs, and partnerships for new revenue streams.
Evaluate trends to identify strategic opportunities and risks for the organization.
Conduct complex analyses to support strategic decisions and investments.
Present recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Build and manage relationships with PBMs, vendors, and partners to accelerate value creation.
Collaborate across the enterprise to advance business objectives and drive sustainable value.
Lead execution, measurement, and continuous improvement of strategic initiatives.
