Blue Cross NC is seeking a Senior Strategic Advisor to leverage deep pharmacy industry expertise to identify and advance cost-of-care savings opportunities, develop revenue-generating pharmacy products, and lead strategic initiatives that drive enterprise value through collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in healthcare strategy or related field.
OR master's with 3+ years in healthcare strategy or related field.
Experience leading cross-functional programs from opportunity assessment through execution and value realization.
Strategic leader with experience in PBM or pharmacy health plan operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

Identify and lead innovative pharmacy strategies that reduce cost of care, improve member outcomes, and support enterprise growth.
Develop and optimize pharmacy products, programs, and partnerships to create new revenue streams and enhance market competitiveness.
Evaluate emerging industry, regulatory, and technology trends to identify strategic opportunities and risks.
Conduct complex financial, operational, and market analyses to support strategic decision-making and investment priorities.
Present strategic recommendations and business insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Build and manage relationships with PBMs, vendors, and partners to accelerate innovation and value creation.
Serve as a pharmacy strategy expert and collaborate across the enterprise to advance business objectives.
Lead the execution, measurement, and continuous improvement of strategic initiatives that deliver sustainable enterprise value.
