Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and a positive patient experience. Under pharmacist supervision, you will process prescriptions, manage workflow, and assist with vaccines and health services where permitted by law.

You will lead technician training and performance management, coordinate scheduling, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations to ensure efficient workflow and positive patient experience.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist pharmacist with patient care activities including vaccines and health screenings where allowed by law.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
• Manage pharmacy workflow and daily schedule, ensuring timely tasks and security of operations.
