Job summary

CVS Health's 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program in Texas offers a structured training roadmap to translate didactic learning into real-world practice. You will work under a licensed pharmacist, participate in a comprehensive training plan, and gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations while delivering safe, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include assisting pharmacy teams, handling prescriptions accurately, supporting immunizations when permitted, and adhering to SOPs.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required (in process).

Responsibilities

• Attend required training and complete within designated timeframe.
• Support pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, promptly, and accurately.
• Deliver compassionate customer service and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Assist with immunizations and other clinical services as permitted by state law and training.
• Maintain SOP adherence and contribute to a safe, inclusive pharmacy environment.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to stores as needed by the business.
• Follow regulatory requirements and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Participate in inventory activities and assist in pharmacist-mentoring and coaching.
