Job summary

Michigan Medicine seeks an Applications Systems Analyst to join our Pharmacy Technology team, supporting Outpatient and Specialty Pharmacy systems to improve patient care. You will collaborate with pharmacists, clinicians, and IT teams to optimize medication-use workflows and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing, testing, and maintaining applications, participating in upgrades, and ensuring documentation and disaster recovery strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience as an IT systems analyst.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with IT project management principles.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and maintain Outpatient and Specialty Pharmacy applications to meet department needs.
• Support pharmacy applications including testing, installation, system design, and documentation.
• Analyze business needs and translate requirements into safe, effective system solutions.
