Qualifications

• 2+ years of pharmacy AR, billing, and collections experience.
• Associate degree or higher required.
• Experience interpreting EOBs and remittance advice.
• Knowledge of payer guidelines and timely filing.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume claims portfolio and follow up to maximize cash collections.
• Research and resolve denials, underpayments, and variances.
• Analyze balances to identify root causes and trends.
• Coordinate with payers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Manage credit balances and refunds per regulatory requirements.
• Prepare summaries and assist leadership with process improvements.
• Support implementation of new processes and training.
• Monitor productivity and document activity and statuses.
