Job summary

McKesson in Cary, NC is seeking a Reimbursement Case Manager to coordinate patient access and handle reimbursement support. You will interact with patients, providers, and payers to verify benefits, obtain prior authorizations, and enroll patients in assistance programs.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience with reimbursement, patient access, or HUB services.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and payer processes.

Responsibilities

• Reimbursement and insurance support across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid.
• Coordinate patient enrollment into HUB programs and support services.
• Collaborate with providers, pharmacies, payers and manufacturers to ensure timely access to therapy.
• Document all case activities and ensure compliance with SOPs and regulations.
• Maintain current knowledge of payer policies and reimbursement trends.
