Health Care Service Corporation is seeking a senior Clinical Pharmacist leader to manage a team delivering medication therapy management and related clinical services for diverse accounts. The role emphasizes staff coaching, performance monitoring, and program optimization.

The position requires US pharmacist licensure, 3 years of management experience, and 5 years in pharmacy practice, with strong communication and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist in the United States.
• 3 years of management and/or leadership experience.
• 5 years of experience within Pharmacy practice.
• Experience using window based word processing, spreadsheet and relational database software.
• Drug information skills.
• Strong Verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of practice guidelines or practice parameters; pharmaco-economics; quality improvement processes and techniques.
• Knowledge of medication use evaluation principles.
• Ability to remain at a work station and perform computer entry for long periods of time.
• Leadership skills and ability to handle multiple priorities and manage communications professionally to achieve issue resolution with customers, employees, or management

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Clinical Pharmacists responsible for medication therapy management services across a diverse portfolio of accounts
• Oversee day-to-day operations ensuring services are delivered efficiently, consistently, and in accordance with account requirements and clinical standards
• Segment and manage accounts by package type, aligning pharmacist staffing and priorities with each account’s specific needs and complexities
• Monitor operational performance, productivity, quality, and other key performance indicators
• Develop, implement, and optimize processes and workflow to support efficient and standardized operations
• Partner with clinical, client-facing, analytics, and operational team
• Support implementation and onboarding of new accounts including staffing, training, documentation, and performance monitoring
• Coach, develop, and evaluate Clinical Pharmacists, fostering accountability, consistency, clinical excellence, and continuous improvement across the team
