Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist Manager to oversee medication therapy management services and a diverse portfolio of accounts. The role includes staffing, training, and performance monitoring, with a focus on clinical excellence.

This Flex (Hybrid) position requires 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, offering growth within a large PBM and health plan environment. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in the United States.
• Minimum 3 years of management or leadership experience.
• At least 5 years of pharmacy practice experience.
• Proficient with Windows-based Word, Excel, and relational databases.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of practice guidelines, pharmacoeconomics, and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Clinical Pharmacists responsible for medication therapy management services across a diverse portfolio of accounts
• Oversee day-to-day operations ensuring services are delivered efficiently, consistently, and in accordance with account requirements and clinical standards
• Segment and manage accounts by package type, aligning pharmacist staffing and priorities with each account’s specific needs and complexities
• Monitor operational performance, productivity, quality, and other key performance indicators
• Develop, implement, and optimize processes and workflow to support efficient and standardized operations
• Partner with clinical, client-facing, analytics, and operational team
• Support implementation and onboarding of new accounts including staffing, training, documentation, and performance monitoring
• Coach, develop, and evaluate Clinical Pharmacists, fostering accountability, consistency, clinical excellence, and continuous improvement across the team
