Job summary

Texas Oncology in Webster, TX is seeking a Pharmacy Admixture Technician to join our team. The role supports a clinic admixture room or licensed pharmacy, with a Mon–Fri schedule of 8:30–5:00 or 8:00–4:30, and levels 1–Sr based on experience.

The ideal candidate assists with medication preparation, dosing, inventory control, documentation, and quality assurance, with IV skills preferred and an ASCP-accredited program recommended. Competitive benefits include LTIP and more.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years pharmacy experience for Level 1; 3–5 years with IV skills for Level 2; 5–7 years for Level Sr.
• IV certification preferred; pharmacist supervision for compounding duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of medication orders by compounding or admixing under supervision.
• Check orders for completeness and verify patient information and physician authorization.
• Admix drugs accurately and in a timely manner; maintain documentation and inventory records.
• Calculate dosage volumes and convert units as needed.
• Maintain temperature and protocol logs; support pre-billing reviews and medication ordering.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations and USP guidelines.
