Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst – Pharmacy Medical Economics to shape our pharmacy strategy. You'll collaborate across teams, turn data into insights, and support a range of actuarial functions to drive informed business decisions and improve performance.

You’ll analyze pharmacy trend data, forecast profitability and participate in pricing research and corporate initiatives. A strong actuarial background and SQL skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree where required.
• 4+ years actuarial experience.
• 5+ exams towards ASA or ASA progress.
• Experience in pharmacy analytics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supports pharmacy trend and hot spot analysis.
• Evaluates moderately complex trend analysis.
• Monitors and forecasts pharmacy profitability.
• Provides actuarial support for corporate pharmacy initiatives.
• Performs pricing research including experience and trend analyses.
