Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Pharma Forecasting Specialist to join our Commercial Analytics and Forecasting team. You will deliver forecasts at global, regional, and country levels as a key stakeholder within a cross-functional group.

The ideal candidate holds 10+ years in pharmaceutical forecasting with deep TA expertise and can develop forecasting assumptions, create concept notes, and prepare impactful presentations. Basic Python proficiency will support forecasting and analytics activities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of pharmaceutical forecasting, commercial analytics, and business analysis within life sciences.
• Basic proficiency in Python to support forecasting and analytics activities.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership to deliver forecast-driven insights.
• Strong therapeutic area expertise across Oncology, Vaccines, Immunology, Rare Diseases, or related fields.
• Proficiency with forecasting and analytics platforms (SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short- and long-term brand forecasts to support strategic and operational planning.
• Conduct brand, franchise, regional, and country-level forecasting with actionable insights.
• Apply quantitative and analytical methods, including sensitivity analyses, to forecast challenges.
• Build, validate, and enhance forecasting models with appropriate assumptions.
• Analyze historical performance, market dynamics, and drivers to improve accuracy.
• Prepare concept notes, dashboards, and presentations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Present findings to senior leadership to inform decisions.
• Leverage Python and analytics tools to automate forecasting processes.
• Drive continuous improvement by adopting best practices and new forecasting technologies.
