Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program with Petco, or previous experience as a professional groomer.
• High-school diploma or GED preferred, though not required.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and animal empathy.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, and styling.
• Operate grooming tools such as clippers, blades, and dryers.
• Prioritize safety and well‑being of pets and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain a clean, safe grooming area and follow hygiene policies.
• Train and supervise entry-level trainees when needed.
