Nationwide is seeking an Actuary in Personal Lines Pricing to shape pricing strategy, influence product development, and drive market performance. The role partners with analytics, pricing, and business teams to translate complex analyses into actionable recommendations.

This is a full-time position with potential for full remote staffing. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of actuarial experience in P&C pricing and holds FCAS designation, with strong communication and stakeholder collaboration

Competenze

• Seven or more years of actuarial experience in Property & Casualty pricing.
• Actuarial designation FCAS is required.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration with business teams.

Mansioni

• Own pricing strategy for a large state using actuarial analysis, market intelligence, filings, and professional judgment.
• Serve as pricing SME for class-plan enhancements, endorsements, and new coverages.
• Partner with stakeholders and modeling teams to interpret results and recommend practical pricing decisions.
• Analyze internal loss experience and external market information to support price selection and opportunities.
• Translate complex actuarial findings into clear recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
• Build cross-functional relationships and lead delivery through influence and collaboration.
