Job summary

Nationwide, a Fortune 100 company, is seeking an Actuary for Personal Lines Pricing within its P&C Actuarial team. You will shape pricing strategy, product innovation and market performance for personal lines insurance, collaborating with pricing, analytics, product and business teams.

This full-time, fully remote role offers opportunities to influence pricing decisions, lead complex analyses, and deliver business-focused recommendations to senior leadership across Nationwide.

Qualifications

Seven or more years of actuarial experience.
Strong knowledge of actuarial methods, statistics, pricing, models and databases.
Actuarial designation FCAS is preferred.
Ability to translate analysis into business recommendations.
Excellent communication and collaboration across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

Own pricing strategy for a large, complex state using actuarial analysis and market intelligence.
Serve as pricing expert for class-plan enhancements, endorsements, coverages, and product initiatives.
Partner with stakeholders and analytics teams to interpret results and recommend solutions.
Analyze loss experience and market information to support price selection.
Translate actuarial findings into clear recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
Build cross-functional relationships and lead delivery through collaboration.
