Job summary

Nationwide is seeking an experienced Actuary, Personal Lines Pricing, to shape pricing strategy and product innovation in a large P&C portfolio. You will partner with analytics, product, and business teams to translate data into practical, profitable pricing decisions and lead cross-functional workstreams.

You will report to the Actuarial leader and bring seven-plus years of actuarial experience, FCAS designation, and strong communication and collaboration skills to this role.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of actuarial experience, preferably in Property & Casualty or personal lines.
• Demonstrated ability to turn analysis into business recommendations and to exercise actuarial judgment.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Own pricing strategy for large state segments using actuarial analysis and market data.
• Serve as pricing SME for class-plan enhancements and new endorsements.
• Partner with stakeholders to interpret results and propose profitable pricing options.
• Analyze loss experience and market information to support price decisions.
• Translate complex findings into clear recommendations for executives.
• Build cross-functional relationships and lead via influence and expertise.
