Responsibilities

• Complete requests for new business quotes and review existing accounts.
• Solicit referrals to broaden the customer base.
• Maintain customer accounts on the agency system and document transactions.
• Consult on coverage to ensure adequate risk management.
• Provide training and support to co-workers and customers.
• Participate actively in community involvement.

Skills

Knowledge of insurance underwriting and rating procedures

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Valid insurance licenses as required by New York State
