Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Personal Injury Litigation Attorney for a full-time, onsite role in Houston, TX and the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The attorney will manage a plaintiff personal injury caseload from litigation strategy through settlement or trial.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of plaintiff-side litigation, trial experience, strong negotiation and writing skills, and the ability to handle a substantial caseload with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active State Bar license in good standing.
• 5+ years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience.
• Trial experience through verdict.
• Strong settlement negotiation and courtroom advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury cases from filing through settlement or trial.
• Develop litigation strategies and evaluate liability, damages, and case value.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and defense counsel.
• Prepare clients, witnesses, and experts for litigation proceedings.
• Prepare cases for trial and serve as first-chair or second-chair counsel.
