Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Senior Personal Injury Litigation Attorney in Phoenix, AZ. The role handles a substantial plaintiff personal injury caseload from filing through verdict, with support from paralegals and staff to focus on litigation and client advocacy.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of PI litigation, strong trial experience, and proven negotiation and writing skills, capable of mentoring junior attorneys while maintaining professional client relationships.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from accredited law school.
• Active State Bar license in good standing.
• 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Trial experience through verdict.
• Strong negotiation, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage substantial caseload independently.
• Excellent organizational and client-relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury cases from filing through settlement or trial.
• Develop litigation strategies and evaluate liability/damages.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences.
• Negotiate settlements with insurers and defense counsel.
• Prepare clients, witnesses, and experts for proceedings.
• Mentor junior attorneys and staff.
