Job summary

Brandon J Broderick is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys from pre-litigation through trial, including drafting documents, managing deadlines, and coordinating depositions.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in Personal Injury, proficiency with Litify and eCourts, excellent communication, and strict attention to detail in a fast-paced Connecticut practice.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Personal Injury.
• Proficiency in legal software and legal databases (Litify, eCourts, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in all aspects of litigation from filing of complaint through trial and post-trial.
• Draft, prepare, and file legal documents, including Complaints, answers, and motions; discovery requests and responses; subpoenas and deposition notices.
• Manage and track litigation deadlines in accordance with Connecticut court rules.
• Coordinate and schedule depositions, IMEs, and court appearances.
• Review, analyze, and summarize medical records, expert reports, and discovery materials.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and expert witnesses.
• Assist with trial preparation: exhibit prep, trial binders, witness coordination.
• Maintain case files within Litify; e-file documents in CT state and federal courts.
