Job summary

Brandon J. Broderick LLC is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys from pre-litigation through trial in Connecticut. The role requires proficiency with legal software, excellent communication, and strong time management.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to ethical standards.

• Relevant understanding of legal research methodologies.
• Relevant certifications or licenses related to paralegal studies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in all aspects of litigation from filing of complaint through trial and post-trial.
• Draft, prepare, and file legal documents, including: complaints, answers, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas and deposition notices.
• Manage and track litigation deadlines in accordance with Connecticut court rules.
• Coordinate and schedule depositions, IMEs, and court appearances.
• Review, analyze, and summarize medical records, expert reports, and discovery materials.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and expert witnesses.
• Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit preparation, trial binders, and witness coordination.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files within Litify.
• E-file documents in Connecticut state and federal courts.
