Job summary

Northern Trust Corp is seeking an experienced Senior Personal Banker to deliver exceptional client service and service a full range of banking products and services. The role is office-based in Oakbrook Terrace, IL, with duties including account opening/servicing, money movement, and client reporting, performed under Wealth Management guidelines.

The successful candidate will cross-sell, maintain accurate records, and mentor fellow bankers while adhering to regulatory and bank policies.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of banking operations, products and services.
• Knowledge of federal regulations and banking guidelines.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Open, maintain and service client accounts; handle money movement and reports.
• Submit and process wires and fund transfers; maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with relationship managers and operations for requested activities.
• Handle cash transactions and daily balancing duties.
• Assist with Safe Deposit Box maintenance where available.
• Set up and review deposit accounts; ensure documentation completeness.
• Adhere to Wealth Management risk, compliance policies and escalate issues.
