Northern Trust is seeking a Personal Banker to deliver an exceptional client service experience and service clients with a full range of banking products. You will execute money movements, maintain records, and provide holistic advice on assigned relationships, cross-selling to deepen client relationships.

The role emphasizes adherence to banking guidelines, collaboration with Wealth Management teams, and opportunities to mentor other bankers while evolving processes and operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of banking operations, products and services acquired through related work experience.
• Knowledge of federal regulations and banking guidelines.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to think critically and work independently and in a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience: 3-5 years of related experience.

Responsabilités

• Understand the business model and engage subject matter experts to explore opportunities with the client.
• Process client account servicing activities including wires, transfers, and account maintenance.
• Proactively communicate with relationship management and NCSS teams to obtain information.
• Handle basic banking transactions and daily balancing in line with WM policies.
• Assist with maintenance and servicing of Safe Deposit Boxes where available.
• Train and mentor fellow Personal Bankers and share expertise.
