Job summary

UMB Bank, N.A. is seeking Personal Bankers who build relationships and recommend financial solutions to help customers achieve their goals.

You’ll leverage product knowledge and personalized conversations to identify needs and offer appropriate lending and deposit options. In this role you’ll train on UMB’s products, work with leaders for mentorship, and focus on cross-selling home equity loans, auto loans, and mortgage referrals while maintaining high service standards in a fast-paced,

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of retail banking sales experience or other relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain NMLS registration within 90 days.
• Ability to learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately.
• Strong math skills and ability to solve problems within risk parameters.

Responsibilities

• Ask personalized questions to learn customers' financial goals and connect them to solutions.
• Create and manage a loan pipeline with cross-selling opportunities (home equity, auto, mortgage).
• Grow the customer base through product knowledge, networking, and proactive outreach.
• Learn transactions, cash handling, and bank documentation to industry standards.
• Aim to meet daily KPIs while delivering an unparalleled customer experience.
• Other duties as assigned.
