Job summary

Centerra Gold Inc. in the Goldfield District Project seeks a Manager, Permitting to lead regulatory strategies, manage submissions, and ensure timely approvals with federal, state, and local agencies.

This role requires regular travel to the Goldfield site, with flexibility across the United States. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in permitting or regulatory affairs, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and proven ability to supervise consultants, budgets, and schedules while integrating regulatory

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in permitting, regulatory affairs, environmental management, or project development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience with permitting applications and regulatory submissions for mining or major projects.
• Familiarity with U.S. federal, Nevada state, and local permitting requirements in mining.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate permitting strategies to support development, construction, operations, and expansion.
• Manage regulatory submissions, approvals, renewals, and commitments with agencies.
• Develop relationships with federal, state, and local agencies and stakeholders.
• Coordinate environmental baseline studies and supporting documentation for submissions.
• Provide regulatory guidance during feasibility studies, engineering reviews, and planning.
• Manage external consultants, budgets, and timelines to meet project needs.
