Job summary

Centerra Gold Inc. in Goldfield, Nevada, seeks a Sustaining Capital Project Manager to lead and manage miscellaneous projects on the Goldfield Project site, ensuring extended mine life.

The role reports to the Project Director and spans Engineering, Procurement, Controls, Permitting, Environmental, Safety, and Construction Management. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in mining development from scoping to startup, with proven delivery of projects greater than $25M and strong safety leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with significant mining project experience.
• 10+ years in mining development projects from study to startup.
• Proven ability to deliver projects >$25M with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Sustaining Capital Projects on site across engineering, procurement, construction, safety, and controls.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams including internal staff and consultants.
• Develop engineering strategies and standards for project delivery.
• Manage procurement strategies, bid walks, and contract negotiations.
• Ensure safety requirements (MSHA) are met and promote zero-harm culture.
• Direct project controls, budgeting, and scheduling to maintain cost and timelines.
• Coordinate operations readiness and environmental permitting activities.
• Engage regulators, communities, and leadership for transparent execution.
