Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in permit expediting.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal permitting regulations.
• Experience in retail/restaurant architecture, engineering, or regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit permit applications in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies, contractors, and internal stakeholders to facilitate timely permit approvals.
• Track permit statuses, maintain compliance records, and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Interpret zoning laws, building codes, and environmental regulations to support project compliance.
• Schedule and coordinate inspections with appropriate agencies.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with regulatory officials, clients, and project teams.
• Maintain organized digital and physical files related to permitting activities.
