Job summary

EDGE Engineering and Science seeks a Senior Environmental Permitting Project Manager to lead permitting and regulatory compliance for major energy infrastructure projects across the United States. You will coordinate with agencies, manage teams, and shape permitting strategies to meet client objectives.

The role requires extensive experience with federal and state permitting, NEPA processes, and environmental documentation for pipelines, LNG, CCS, and other energy developments, guiding projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Biology, or related field.
• 7+ years in environmental permitting and regulatory consulting for energy projects.
• Experience preparing federal and state environmental permit applications.
• Strong knowledge of Clean Water Act 404/401, Rivers and Harbors Act 10, NEPA.

Responsibilities

• Lead permitting and regulatory compliance for energy infrastructure projects across the U.S.
• Develop permitting strategies and regulatory roadmaps aligned with project schedules.
• Coordinate with agencies and manage multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Prepare Environmental Resource Reports and supporting studies for FERC-regulated projects.
• Mentor junior staff and support business development within the energy market.
