Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of system design and architecture and data flow across components.
• Experience with query optimization and performance debugging.
• Relational databases experience, PostgreSQL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate bottlenecks and drive code, DB, and architecture optimizations.
• Design, build, and maintain performance testing and data generation frameworks.
• Define and evolve standards for performance optimization and scalability.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement fixes and improvements.
