Job summary

Converge Resources is seeking a Senior Performance Engineer to lead investigations into application responsiveness and network behavior across enterprise and hybrid-cloud environments. You will independently collect evidence, isolate bottlenecks, guide incident resolution, and partner with network, cloud, and operations teams to improve service reliability.

Qualifications

Five+ years in network/performance engineering or related field.
Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, and load balancing.
Hands-on experience with Wireshark, tcpdump, PCAP.
Ability to analyze TCP handshakes, retransmissions, DNS behavior, and TLS/SSL negotiations.
Strong understanding of HTTP/S, APIs, authentication workflows.

Responsibilities

Lead investigations into application responsiveness and network behavior.

Coordinate with network, cloud, infrastructure, operations, and application teams to improve reliability.
