Job summary

Now100 is seeking a Performance Engineer/Tester for a 6-month engagement in Austin or Dallas, TX. You will lead performance testing for large-scale distributed systems and develop cloud-based tooling to improve reliability and efficiency.

The role requires 5+ years of experience with LoadRunner, JMeter, Dynatrace, AppDynamics and Python automation, plus experience with CI/CD and capacity planning. On-site work in Texas is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of performance testing experience
• Strong experience with LoadRunner, JMeter and NeoLoad
• Cloud experience (Google Cloud or similar)
• Automation skills (Python)
• Experience with CI/CD and production readiness

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-based tooling and automation to improve productivity
• Diagnose production issues and conduct blameless post-mortems
• Orchestrate CI/CD pipelines with tests and coverage
• Prepare production readiness plans including capacity planning
• Identify and mitigate issues to prevent defects leaking to production
