Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Performance Software Engineer in the United States to lead performance testing, data-generation frameworks, and optimization initiatives across the organization. You will translate real-world usage into benchmarks and guide teams to high-throughput, low-latency systems.

This hands-on, strategic role requires building reusable tooling, collaborating with engineers, and applying data-driven insights to scale our cloud service on AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years as Software Engineer with 2+ years in K6 or load test frameworks.
• 3+ years in Cloud Native Environments AWS.
• Strong design, performance and optimization tuning.
• Distributed computing systems and container-native environments.
• Scripting for automation (Bash, Python, etc.).
• Experience with PostgreSQL in a NinjaOne stack.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain performance testing and data generation frameworks.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and performance standards.
• Define and evolve best practices for performance optimization and scalability.
