Job summary

UST is seeking a Senior Performance Test Engineer to design and execute performance strategies for enterprise and cloud apps. You will build LoadRunner scripts (VuGen/Controller/Analysis), monitor with Dynatrace, and validate AWS-based architectures, aiming for scalable, reliable systems.

Collaborate with architects, developers, DevOps and SRE teams to tune performance, integrate tests into CI/CD, and present clear dashboards for stakeholders while upholding performance engineering best

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on performance testing experience with LoadRunner.
• Strong Dynatrace experience for performance monitoring and diagnostics.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda).
• Basic to intermediate Linux skills and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with scripting languages: Shell, Bash, or Korn.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance test strategies (load, stress, endurance, scalability, spike).
• Develop and maintain LoadRunner scripts for web apps, APIs, and backend systems.
• Monitor performance with Dynatrace; identify bottlenecks and analyze root causes.
• Analyze CPU, memory, disk I/O, and network metrics across environments.
• Execute tests for AWS-based architectures (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda).
• Collaborate with architects, developers, DevOps and SRE to optimize performance.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
• Prepare and present performance dashboards for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Adhere to performance engineering best practices and continuous improvement.
