Job summary

Canva is seeking a Growth Creative specialist to scale performance-driven content across social channels from our San Francisco base. You’ll translate briefs and data into distinctive ad concepts, craft hooks and scripts, and direct shoots for UGC-style content.

You’ll iterate quickly on short-form video, optimize based on metrics, and collaborate with strategists to meet campaign goals. You’ll bring 5+ years in performance creative or related fields, a proven ads portfolio

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience across performance creative, copywriting, video production, or content creation.
• Portfolio of YouTube, Meta, or TikTok ads with strong performance.
• Experience remixing UGC-style content into ads that convert.
• Analytically minded with dashboards and performance metrics.
• Strong understanding of platform dynamics and what makes people stop scrolling.
• Excellent communicator able to present creative rationale to stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with speed and quality.

Responsibilities

• Turn campaign briefs, audience insights and data into distinctive social ad concepts.
• Write hooks, scripts, static copy, carousels and long-form video content.
• Plan and direct self-shot shoots for UGC-style content and talent.
• Edit high volumes of short-form video with good pacing and storytelling.
• Review performance metrics and form hypotheses for next iterations.
• Remix existing creative into new variations and test different angles.
• Collaborate with strategists, marketers and partners to align with goals.
• Raise the creative bar and share learnings to build repeatable playbooks.
