Job summary

Bluebeam is seeking a Principal Performance Automation Engineer to set the technical direction for load and performance across its product portfolio. You will own the performance testing strategy, architecture, and tooling, delivering scalable, reliable systems for production-scale workloads.

You will lead cross-functional teams, define benchmarks and SLOs, and embed performance validation into CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in performance/automation engineering or DevOps, incl. 5+ years in load/perf for large-scale systems.
• BS/MS in CS, Engineering or related field required.
• Cloud infrastructure experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Strong design and architecture skills for distributed systems.
• Proficient in coding for test scripts, data generation, and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Define and own long-term performance testing strategy and roadmap.
• Lead technical direction, drive standards, and mentor engineers.
• Architect frameworks and environments simulating production load.
• Lead deep diagnostics and optimizations with cross-functional teams.
• Establish benchmarks, SLOs, and CI/CD validation for performance.
