Job summary

Bluebeam, Inc. seeks a Principal Performance Automation Engineer to set the technical direction for load and performance across its product portfolio. You will own testing strategy, architecture, and tooling end-to-end to ensure scalable, efficient systems in production.

You will lead a team, design benchmarks and SLAs, and align performance goals with engineering and executive stakeholders. Remote or hybrid arrangements may be considered for this role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in performance/automation engineering or DevOps roles.
• 5+ years focused on load and performance engineering for large-scale systems.
• Degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define and own long-term performance testing strategy and roadmap.
• Lead technical direction, set standards, and mentor engineers.
• Architect frameworks simulating production load at scale.
• Drive root-cause analysis and optimizations with DevOps teams.
• Establish benchmarks, SLAs, and CI/CD gated validations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to influence architecture and capacity planning.
